Ola aims to double the scale of business in New Zealand and Australia by 2020-2021. There company announced expansion of its presence to 33 locations from 11 countries in coming January with service is expected to start from the next few weeks. With over 90,000 drivers partners were signed up.Ola is the one of the fastest growing ride Uber riders.
Recently,the company gives services to three cities in New Zealand,Australia, India and 8 different countries.India has services across different metropolitan cities like Banglore, Kolkata , Mumbai,Delhi etc. They decided to launch in 11 locations in New Zealand ,Australia to increase the services and increase the expansion in total presence across 33 cities.
Simon Smith,head of international,Ola said in recent interview that " they have seen a nice response to their services across Australia and New Zealand since they their launch in february in last year.Ola is offering better value fares to costumers and a better deal for drivers who earn more fro every ride and bringing industry leading safety tech innovations to the local market. Ola began their international services with Australia in last year as first country to launch.with in few months they expanded its services to the UK and later in New Zealand with in few period. Recently Ola was granted a Private Hire vehicle(PHV) licence by the transport for London and is starting to onboard drives ahead of launching its services in London.
