Amit Shah's response towards Ram temple




Ramayana states that Rama's birth place is Sarayu river in Ayodhya but a hindu section claims that the exact birth place of Rama is Babri Masjid once stood in the present day Ayodhya, Uttar pradesh. According to this the Mughal's demolished a Hindu Shrine and constructed the mosque in its place during 1528-29 by Mir Baqi a commander of the Mughal emperor Babur. People opposite to this state that arose in the 18th century and there is no evidence to prove that the spot is Ram's birth place. The location of Babri Mosque and the previous temple was demolished or modified to create it is known as Ayodhya dispute. In 1992 the demolition of Babri Masjid by Hindu nationalists triggered widespread Hindu - Muslim violence. On February 8,2018, the Supreme court said that the politically sensitive case was purely a land dispute. On October 29, 2018, the hearing of the Ayodhya land dispute was postponed to January 2019.
The final judgement in the Ayodhya dispute was declared by the Supreme court of India on 9 November 2019. The Supreme Court of India ordered the disputed land(2.77 acres) to be handed over to a trust(to be created by Government of India) to built the Ram Janmabhoomi( revered as the birth place of Hindu deity,Ram)temple. The court also ordered the government to give an alternate 5 acres of land in another place to the Sunni Wakf Board for the purpose of building a mosque.
On December 16,2019, Home Minister Amit Shah assured that a grand sky high Ram temple will built in Ayodhya within four months now. The Supreme Court had directed the Union government to set up a trust in 3 months for construction of the Ram mandir at the dispute site. Two days before the home minister started working.
As Amit shah assured a quick construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya , he went on the dig at the congress saying that neither party can keep the country safe nor it can respect of its citizen. He addressed the rally when Jharkhand entered its fourth phase of pollling.
