Fourth Most Attractive Market : PWC Global CEO Survey
A survey of
of chief executive officers from across the world by consultancy gaint PwC
shows India has managed to retain the position of the fourth-most attractive
market. This was released on Monday the 23rd PwC CEO survey showed
that as many as 53 per cent of global CEOs
believe international economic growth would decline in the next 12
months.
Since the
financial crash of 2007-08 the findings are worst with only 29 per cent of CEOs
expressing pessimism in the global economy in the 2019 survey. In the year
before only 5 per cent of CEOs believed growth would dip. 9 percent CEOs
believe India remains among the most important regions for the growth of their organization.
The 2019 survey showed 8 percent of CEOs favoured the country. The report
surveyed more than 1580 CEOs in 83 countries.
The costly
trade war between US and china has regained popularity among the business
leaders. India remaining the second-most attractive region. 52 per cent of the
surveyed corporate leaders saying growth would decline and a 27 per cent a year
ago. From the CEOs interviewed by PwC more than half of the 63 attributed their
pessimism to uncertain economic growth.
